I have probably left it way too late to post this review, but better late than never I guess. This suit is made of 66% polyamide and 34% elastane.
This suit is interesting when compared to the others that I have reviewed as I managed to pick them up for around 40 euro. So, they were far cheaper than my entry level suits, but the composition and glued seams put them way ahead of those. I would therefore place them as an intermediate suit.
The suit feels light to the touch, almost like paper, with a nice amount of compression. The compression of course is less than my carbon suits and they lack any supporting tape. I’ve worn these for quite a few races, and they are still very hydrophobic and overall holding up very well.

I’ve used it for all four strokes and for various distances with no downsides. it really is a solid all-rounder. I like to wear them for competitions where I want a good suit, but when I want to save my carbon suits. I have picked up PBs in the 50 free and 50 fly wearing them so I think my strategy works.
The sizing was different to what I am used to with Arena, but that is typical these days as manufacturers all seem to have their own standards.
I mentioned these were very cheap and how I might have left it late to post this. These are related as it looks like the line might be discontinued, but if you spot a pair of these for less than 150 euro then I definitely recommend grabbing them as they outperform many suits that are sold for 200. I’ve been so satisfied with them that I am now looking out for other Akron suits. Overall, this is a solid racing suit which you can hopefully still pick up for a decent price.
